1. Who we are
Nurtura Care is a senior-care concierge service that supports elderly parents residing in Kolkata on behalf of their family members, including Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) living abroad. Nurtura Care is operated under its parent company, Oz Exim. References to “we” or “us” in this Policy mean Nurtura Care and, where relevant, Oz Exim as the parent entity.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Identity and contact details of the subscribing family member / NRI client — name, email address, phone number, country of residence and relationship to the care recipient.
- Information about the elderly care recipient(s) — name, age, residential address in Kolkata, emergency contacts, and details necessary to provide the Services.
- Health and medical information — medical history, current conditions, medications, vital readings, diagnostic and pathology reports, doctor consultation notes, and health records maintained as part of the Services.
- Transaction information — plan selected, registration and subscription fees, payment status and billing records. Card / banking details are processed by our payment gateway partner (ICICI Bank) and are not stored by us.
- Communications — messages, instructions and updates exchanged via phone, WhatsApp, email or our care managers.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device information and cookies when you use the Website.
3. Sensitive personal data and consent
Health and medical information is sensitive personal data. We collect and process such data only with consent and strictly for the purpose of delivering care and coordination services. Where the care recipient is unable to provide consent directly, the subscribing family member confirms that they are authorised to share such information and to provide consent on the care recipient’s behalf.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, coordinate and manage the care Services, including healthcare coordination, emergency assistance, diagnostics, physiotherapy and daily assistance.
- Communicate with you and share regular updates about the care recipient’s well-being.
- Engage and coordinate with doctors, hospitals, diagnostic labs, ambulance providers and other third-party vendors required to deliver the Services.
- Process registration and subscription payments and maintain billing records.
- Maintain health records and respond to medical or emergency situations.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as follows:
- With healthcare professionals, hospitals, diagnostic and pathology labs, pharmacies, ambulance services and other vendors engaged to deliver the Services.
- With our payment gateway partner and banking partner (including ICICI Bank) to process payments.
- With our parent company Oz Exim and authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- Where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the safety, rights or property of the care recipient, you, us or others.
6. Data storage and security
We retain personal and health information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and to comply with legal, accounting and regulatory requirements. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. While we take security seriously, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request to access, correct or update your personal information, withdraw consent, or request deletion of your information (subject to records we are required to retain).
