These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website nurtura.org.in (the “Website”) and the elderly-care concierge and coordination services offered by Nurtura Care (the “Services”). Please read them carefully. By subscribing to a plan, making a payment, or using the Website or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About us and parent company
Nurtura Care is a senior-care concierge service operating in Kolkata, India. Nurtura Care is a venture of, and is owned and operated under, its parent company Oz Exim. All Services are provided under the Oz Exim umbrella, and references to “Nurtura Care”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms include Oz Exim as the parent company where the context so requires. Any contract for Services is entered into with Nurtura Care / Oz Exim.

2. Nature of our Services
Nurtura Care provides coordination, assistance and concierge support for elderly persons, including healthcare coordination, emergency assistance, diagnostics and pathology support, physiotherapy coordination, daily assistance, and legal & civil support. We act as a facilitator and coordinator. Nurtura Care is not a hospital, nursing home, diagnostic laboratory or emergency medical provider, and does not itself practise medicine. Medical care, diagnostics, ambulance services and treatment are delivered by independent qualified third-party professionals and providers.
3. Plans, registration and fees
- Services are offered under subscription plans (such as Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Optimum) as described on the Website, each with its own inclusions, registration fee and subscription fee.
- A non-refundable annual registration fee (per person) is payable in addition to the plan subscription fee.
- Single packages are not available for couples residing together.
- Services not included in the chosen plan are charged at actual cost. Transport, pharmacy costs and night charges, where applicable, are charged separately.
- A management fee on third-party vendor services and out-of-pocket expenses applies as stated in the relevant plan.
- Interest at 12% may be applied on invoices that remain unpaid for more than 30 days.
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Rates are effective from 01.04.2026 and may be revised with prior notice.
4. Payments
Payments are processed through our authorised payment gateway in partnership with ICICI Bank. By making a payment you authorise us and our payment partner to process the transaction. We do not store your card or banking credentials.
5. Service delivery conditions
- Care Manager visits last approximately 45 to 75 minutes per visit.
- “Emergency services” refers to first aid provided by a nurse; we coordinate hospital admission and ambulance support but do not provide emergency medical treatment ourselves.
- Escort for hospital admission is provided up to 3.5 hours; additional hours are chargeable.
- Doctor home visits and consultations are pre-scheduled only.
- Patient care attendant and nursing services are subject to availability.
- All instructions must be communicated to the assigned Care Manager or the main contact number via WhatsApp or call.
6. Third-party vendors
Where you select or approve a particular third-party vendor, Nurtura Care is not responsible for the acts, omissions, quality or conduct of that vendor, but will coordinate with them on your behalf. Nurtura Care exercises reasonable care in engaging vendors but does not guarantee outcomes of medical treatment or third-party services.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information about the care recipient, including medical history and emergency contacts.
- Confirm you are authorised to share the care recipient’s information and to act on their behalf.
- Make timely payment of all fees and charges.
- Treat our staff with respect. Any physical, mental or verbal abuse toward staff is strictly prohibited and may lead to suspension of Services and legal action.
8. Term, suspension and termination
- Subscriptions are for the period stated in the chosen plan (monthly or annual) and, once paid, run for the full paid term.
- Nurtura Care reserves the right to discontinue or suspend a subscription by giving 15 days’ prior notice, for example in cases of non-payment, abuse of staff, or circumstances that make safe delivery of Services impracticable.
- Where Nurtura Care terminates a subscription for its own operational reasons (and not due to client default), any genuinely unused portion of advance payment may be considered for adjustment only after deduction of all dues, registration fees and charges up to the termination date, at the company’s discretion.
- Cancellation and refund of fees by the client are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy below, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurtura Care and Oz Exim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for the acts, omissions or clinical decisions of independent doctors, hospitals, diagnostic labs, ambulance services or other third-party providers. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the subscription fee paid by you for the then-current plan term.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nurtura Care, Oz Exim and their personnel from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, inaccurate information provided by you, or misuse of the Services.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including the Nurtura Care name, logo, text and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Oz Exim and may not be copied or used without prior written permission.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance.
